Lesson Information

Piano: Learning to play the piano can and should be fun! Through creative application, lessons emphasize an understanding of music theory and note reading skills, as well as learning to play with expression and enjoyment at any level. Also, Deborah has developed a unique method of teaching dyslexic students how to read music and become successful musicians, both by ear and by note.

Voice: The voice is a fascinating 'built-in' instrument and whether you just like to sing in the shower or have lofty performance ambitions, let Deborah's enthusiastic, patient instruction help you reach your goals. Areas covered include breathing, diction, tone quality, expression, building a repertoire and more.

Celtic Harp: Would you like to make music by simply running your finger across a set of strings? Thats the beauty of the harp...the simplest melodies are enchanting, giving beginners a great sense of satisfaction. Smaller and more affordable than classical harps, Celtic/lever harps are a wonderful instrument for both children and adults. Lessons include note reading and music theory, hand technique, special effects on the harp, chords and vocal accompaniment (if desired) and a variety of harp music styles.
